About Us
Dreams Empowered Foundation was created out of a passion to bridge the gap for talented competitive junior golfers who lack access to the resources they need to succeed. Too often, gifted young athletes miss out on top-tier golf instruction, ranking tournaments, and the guidance required to secure collegiate scholarships or pursue careers as professional or teaching golfers—all due to financial barriers.
Our Story
Having 4 children that play competitive golf, I know first-hand the financial commitment that is required to be successful in the sport. Often, I would attend events and either see students that had potential to be great but didn’t have the access to proper equipment or their scores were really high compared to the other competitors because they didn’t have a golf coach or anyone to guide them through the competition process. This can be very discouraging. There are steps to be taken on what type of tournaments a junior golfer should be playing. Most may not know this without proper guidance.
I would also see other non-profits have students, but they mainly only had the skill set to work with beginners. They wouldn’t have the ability to get the students to become an advance player. That is what motivated me to create Dreams Empowered Foundation. I wanted to have a place for these students to go after they have outgrown these programs that focus on beginners. I wanted to help get the students to become highly competitive. I wanted to find a way to get these students the access to everything they need to assist them with securing college scholarships and beyond without having to worry about the financial barriers that come with the sport. I wanted to have a space that is inclusive.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower competitive junior golfers from under resourced families by providing access to high-quality golf instruction, offsetting tournament fees, and helping secure essential equipment. Guided by our commitment to inclusivity and opportunity, we foster to cultivate a supportive environment where competitive junior golfers can develop their skills, build confidence, and pursue their passion for the game. By removing financial barriers and nurturing a love for golf, we help our participants earn collegiate scholarships, explore careers in golf, and realize their potential to compete on the LPGA and PGA tours—enriching their lives and inspiring future generations of athletes.
