PROGRAMS

Our programs provide equitable access to high‑quality golf instruction, tournaments, equipment, mentorship, and fitness development for youth by removing barriers related to gender, income, diversity, health and risk factors. By creating an inclusive, supportive environment, we expand opportunities for students who traditionally lack access to structured sports, helping them build confidence, improve health, and thrive academically and socially.

Impact & Outcomes

Youth in Orange County face significant barriers to sports participation — from gender gaps and limited access for diverse and low‑income families to rising fitness challenges and the vulnerabilities faced by at‑risk students. Our program directly combats these inequities by providing inclusive, affordable, high‑quality golf instruction with a PGA Teaching Professional with indoor and course access, TPI Fitness, Tournament opportunities, equipment and mentorship that builds confidence, improves physical health, expands access, and creates pathways for every child to succeed regardless of background.

Gender

Gender equality in golf ensures that girls and women have the same access, opportunity, and support to learn, compete, and excel, strengthening the sport for everyone. Orange county female youth sport participation is one of the lowest in the county. 50% of our program caters to female junior golfers.

Students Background

Diversity strengthens golf by bringing in new perspectives, expanding access, and creating a more vibrant, inclusive sport where every player feels they belong. 25% of youth golfers come from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. Roughly 0.3% of junior golfers nationwide are registered in adaptive or inclusive golf programs, highlighting a major access gap for youth with disabilities. We pride ourselves in making sure those that want to do the sport are able to do so, no matter what their background is.

Equity

Youth from low‑income families abandon sports at 6× the rate of higher‑income families due to financial barriers. Low‑income youth in Orange County participate in sports at significantly lower rates — consistent with national data showing a 16–25% participation gap for low‑income families and 12.5% of youth living in poverty. 100% of our current students are considered low income in orange county where the median income is $77,011. Competitive pathways (like golf, tennis, or club sports) are cost‑prohibitive for many families.

Fitness

Students ages 8-9 years old average 15 hours a month doing golf, students 10-13 years old average 26 hours a month doing golf and students 14+ average 39 hours a month doing golf. Only about 23% of Florida adolescents meet the monthly physical‑activity recommendation of 30 hours per month. Our programs support students getting most of their daily activity with 50% of our students get 35+ hours of their physical activity per month through our program. The remaining 50% get 26+ hours of physical activity through our program.

Attendance

Consistent attendance is one of the strongest predictors of whether a young person is at risk academically, socially, or behaviorally. Youth who struggle with attendance often face instability at home, academic challenges, or limited support systems — making structured programs like ours a critical protective factor that keeps them engaged, supported, and on track. Between 20–25% of Florida youth meet at‑risk criteria, driven primarily by poverty, child maltreatment, and juvenile‑justice involvement. 100% of our students attended training and tournaments 90% of the time or more.

Access

Fewer than 5% of students in Orange County have meaningful access to golf through their school or community programs. The number is even lower for students that want to compete in golf. There are several programs that introduce golf to youth, but not any programs for junior golfers that want to be competitive in the sport. Focusing on low-income families we are able to provide access to anyone that wants to do the sport competitively. We provide access with our indoor facility access, flexible schedule and course access.
